First day in Lima, sun shining, dramatic cliff top setting, what better place to enjoy a bowl of super fresh ceviche.
We tried two versions at Mangos in Miraflores – one with a creamy chilli marinade and one with the classic citrus flavour. Fresh fish, prawns, squid, octopus and scallops cured in lime juice and salt. Complimented by sweet potatoes, large white boiled corn and small crunchy toasted corn kernels that tasted like popcorn. An unusual pairing but it really worked!
All washed down with a classic Pisco Sour.

Love the ceviche, spent almost three weeks in Peru last year. The food was definitely one of the best parts!
