San Pedro De Atacama is a dusty little town in Chile’s Atacama desert. After 3 freezing days at super high altitude, the lower elevation and warmer weather were a welcome relief.
The town itself is tiny and touristy, with many excursions to landscapes similar to those we’d just visited in Bolivia, so we opted to just do the tour to the Valle De Luna (moon valley). Our day ended watching the sunset over the dramatic landscape while our guide prepared a picnic of cheesey snacks and Pisco sours!

Fab!!!! Love the picnic photo xxxx
In thinking of going to Valparaiso in October. Would you suggest it?
We didn’t get to go there as we went to Easter Island instead but our friend went and she loved it, much preferred it to Santiago ๐
Oh I’ll have to Google that! I’ve heard of it but don’t know much about it.
